TENDER MANAGEMENT

Generally, fpm recommend a Traditional Tender procedure for Construction Projects as detailed below:

 

In discussions  with the Client and each of the Consultants, suitable Contractors will be selected for prequalification for Tendering. A short list of Tenderers will be recommended for Client approval following the receipt and assessment of the prequalification data. A shortlist of Contractors will then be Invited to Tender.

 

The Consultants Tender Documentation will be collated by the Quantity Surveyor and a full Bill of Quantity’s prepared for Tender. The Tender is issued to the Contractors and following the Tender Submission, an assessment and recommendation is provided to the Client.

 

After the Client's selection of the Contractor, the Contract is prepared and signed.
